what it is said to be, or at least, one can suppose many episodes which happened, or were close to happen, are not reported. In music it is the same : many musical traditions, instruments, phenomena are unexpectedly hidden, ignored, carefully stolen from the attention of the innocent reader in the traditional music histories and encyclopedia, and as we could expect, they are forgotten also by today’s musicians THEMSELVES.

Would it be because they never existed ?
Very unlikely.

It’s mostly because of scandalous political pressures on one hand, and because of the pusillanimity of the artists on the other. Happily, and thanks to the courage of a new school of researchers, episodes like the Ripolswka singer, the true story of the cider-brain, the twelve Twell sisters, the terrifying invasions of the Orgue-accord, the musical street of Pilastro Pippironiro and many others are now available to the a large audience, for the sake of Truth and Beauty.

Many examples, both visual and sound will be given with live performers, and elegantly presented by Prof. Henry-Jacques Glaçon, Dr Honoris Causa of the New Southampton Royal Music Academy of Science.
